Polgár Winery started more than forty years ago, when Zoltán Polgár and his wife Katalin set out to build a winery. Today it is one of the well-known family estates in Villány.

In 1996 Zoltán Polgár was named Winemaker of the Year, one of the highest awards in Hungarian wine.

Since then the family has kept Villány’s traditions going from one generation to the next, and they still look for new ideas along the way.

Polgár is more than a winery now: wine, rooms, food, events and a few special experiences, all in Villány.
